As many of our followers may know we have recently hatched 19 butties here at the Homestead which we are pleased to announce are ready to go to their new homes, all of our chickens are all hand reared and will interact with humans so if you are looking for a new addition to your homestead then why not start your own flock of chickens with a group of mix breeds from your local poultry farm here in Havant.

So instead of building a coop for our chicks we decided to purchase one directly from Amazon for a bargain at just £134 however, when it arrived we then began to understand why it was so cheap. The general build quality of this coop is not what we would recommend for people that receive frequent predatory visitors to the homestead mainly due to the the materials to have been used to make both this coop and run.
